Touch Down - I was lucky

It was one of my first flight. I could push left stick back at the very last moment. Touch down by its legs.. I am still scared watching that video.

 
I'm laughing at this because I've done it myself a coupe of times! I know that feeling of watching a $1,000+ machine bounce off the ground.
 
Treat the quad like your high school sweetheart, tender loving care, be gentle and easy with her. Come down slow and easy on the landing. Watch the last foot as prop wash can move you around a little. We all tip once in a while but don't want a real hard landing. That darn camera is just to sensitive to an abrupt landing. Practice in the grass low cut grass...
 
You'll get the hang of it.

Hand catching has some advantages but it's not satisfying.

I've only hand caught a few times when it was probably a bit too windy to fly in the first place.
