Tornado in Smithville MS April , 27 2011

This isn't my video but from a F5 Tornado that hit our little part of the world in 2011 .
Wiped out Smithville where I have a house my daughter ,husband and my 2 grandboys lived at the time .
Took a whole sub-division out right in front of my house there and almost all of the town and thankfully my family where not there at the time .
I arrived as it was leaving the north side of town ,was unreal .

I took these Sunday from the north side of town and has started back nicely .
A day I will never forget .
North end of town looking south and is of new High school with a gym built to withstand a F5

Was something you never want to have to go through .

We seem to have lots of these storms but this was the worst .

Yea that wasn't a good clip but it shows ya what a bad one will do .
That one killed 16 and didn't stop there . Went on to Al and took out a whole town called Hackleburk which was small but it's gone.
That first boat ramp they drove down is where I fly from a lot .
