To upgrade or not to the latest firmware ( 3.04) ?

Hi,

Do I need to upgrade to the latest firmware ( 3.04) ?
I am yet running on 1.08 without any issues at all.
I know that if I am going to use the 3d gimbal an update would be mandatory but I am not plannning upgrading yet at least ont until the new Gopro 4 camera come out.
Any benefits for me ?

I'm holding off on the upgrade myself appears to be more flight restrictions but curious to why you're waiting until GoPro 4 is available.

Right now I'm running version 3.0 everything seems to be okay for me however I'm a little new, and still learning

running 3.04 with no problems, although i have no flight restricted areas where i live so ymmv
