To fit prop guards or not ?

I have snap-on prop guards in my case. It's extremely rare I use them because they change the flight characteristics of the P3P, and aren't much help where I fly if I hit something. I fly a lot of canyons and around a lot of trees.

Regarding protecting the props - not much of a concern for me. I have 10 full sets and always carry two full sets, plus those already on the P3P whenever I travel to fly. Props are cheap - expenses to get where I'm going to fly aren't. More cost effective to change out props than it is to waste a 500 or more mile round trip - to fly.

Forget the prop guards. ..you will see them.in vids....no need to crash...hand catch on landing and fly smart.
Exactly.. 200 miles flown in 3 months with the P3. Would not use them. I don't need sails.

I don't think prop guards are gonna save you from anything unless you brush up against a totally flat surface.

Risk versus reward. If it's too risky, I won't fly it. It's not worth it.
