I;m looking through "build your own drone" kits as I thought over the long, hard Canadian winter, between shoveling snow, rebuilding our family Igloo's & hunting for meat, I'd take a stab at building one.
The DJI Flame wheel kit seems to include everything to get into the air. I;m quite handy & have soldering skills.
In my youth, I did build a number RC plane kits, all balsa hi-wing models, with a 4 channel radio.
There were very few other RC'ers in my area, I got quite competent at taking off, but, flying most right into the ground.
Would you think this Flamewheel 350 kit would be a good starter to build?
Open to any & all suggestions & thanks in advance from Canada.

I think that the DJI F350 will be hard to find- and the knock off copies are poor.
In your shoes I would consider the F450 kit and look around for one complete with a Naza v2 and GPS.

That way you've got most of what you need when you decide to upgrade to an F550!

I am in the process of building my second drone from scratch....down to using my 3d printer for every part I can

The F450, yes thanks I was just looking at this one.
I;m not at the "from scratch" level yet, not for my first
F450 looks to be very cool, complete & thanks again.
