My phantom 3 standard came in today. It has been raining all day and I have not had a chance to fly it. I have updated and everything worked perfectly. Any tips for when I can fly?

It will give you all the information you need on choosing the best time to fly.

If you haven't done it already I'd do an IMU calibration and gimbal calibration. You'll find a number of videos on YouTube explaining how. Make sure you use a flat level surface. For your first flight I'd pick a large open area free from obstructions to learn. Start simple to get the hang of the controls.

Thanks guys! Today it was clear and I took it out and did a gimbal I'm and compass calibration. It flew great and exceeded my expectations. I even got some pictures too!
