I just ordered Immersions 25mw FPV set. And yes, I know that I will get pretty short range with 25mw... But it was the only way to go if I wanna stay legit. My Phantom is v.1.1.1

Any tips for the installation process?
-Should I take the power from ESC or...?
-Links
-Do's and dont's

I bet its not wise to install the transmitter within the Phantom casing as it may get hot in there? So any DIY/MacGyver suggestions how to attach the transmitter below the Phantom. I'm not gonna order any 3D printed parts for this :D

Best way I have found is to attache the TX to the outside of the Phantom shell via heavy duty Velcro.

The TX is so light even with a Skew Planar antenna attached it's not going to fall off!

Also, as you mention, they can get quite warm and the additional airflow of it being on the outside helps.

Power can just be taken from the Aux cable as already supplied and fitted in the Phantom.

There are lots of videos around on YT showing different installations - here's one of many (although it's for the 600mW TX the principle is identical. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv7pE_sM5x8
