Ticking noise underneath P4, common or an issue?

Posted this message in the help section as well, thought I would get more of a response here.

I went to setup my P4, updated the firmware without any issues. The P4 is sitting on my desk powered up with the lights blinking and I hear a very rapid low pitch ticking noise coming from below, where the sensors (VPS) is below.
When the battery is pulled out and powered on I do not hear the noise, so it doesn't seem to be from the battery.

Is this common or do I have a possible issue?

Normal. That's just the VPS sonor sensors.
