Throttle stick to bottom: will motors shut down in flight?

Re: Throttle stick to bottom: will motors shut down in fligh

OK - in plain english - is the consensus that in order to avoid crashes the sticks should be handled GENTLY and not pushed to EDGE?

I have held the throttle lever hard down for much longer than 3 seconds on many descents and nothing untoward has happened.
Prop wash is a different story though.

From Page 10 NAZA QSG

Notes of Intelligent Mode

(3) During normal flight, only pull throttle stick under 10% will not stop motors in any control mode.

So you'll have to do a CSC to stop the motors during flight in Intelligent Mode.
