Current firmware versions. I have never updated my P4 since I got it. It has a slight tilted horizon issue but no other problems and flies great.. No yo yo effect, no poor video feed, nothing. I also don't want to introduce any additional geofencing or NFZ's.. So the question is, is there any pertinent or real reason to update firmware? As log as it flies well I don't see a reason to, but maybe I'm missing something..

DJI resolves defects through updates though they are not published in details. It may be worth keeping your bird upto date. But yes you need not update each and every revision

Right -- this is an important point to consider. This is why I like to run the current firmware versions.

I completely agree. I haven't updated anything and won't.

Sometimes new features of DJI GO rely on new firmwares. So I may upgrade firmware when DJI GO updates a big version.
