Doesn't look like one to me. Have a look at some other photos on the forum. You will easily see the difference.

Looks like the molding marks, I have the same ones.

They are mold marks. They show on mine too.

The shells look cast then polished to remove flashing, probably done by hand piecework. It could have been feathered out more but I doubt they have or want to spent the time holding it up to a light then buffing more until it looks seamless.
