Will there be a new @dji Phantom model soon?
Oh yeah sure, probably several of them. ;-)
But I don't know if I want another Phantom this soon. So I have been reading up a lot, and searching out the unusual interesting unique drones and helicopters, any brand, new stuff, that also has decent articles or five star revues. And I think (?) I may have just found the one, of many I liked, that interests me quite a bit. This is especially good, for the price point. Yeah, it's the new one by Heli-Max RC, their Voltage 500 3D.

Looks like a lot of fun, & with the bail out, great to practice flying 3D with. ;-)
Plenty of power for casual buzzing around, on 3s for fun flights, and it's big enough and bad azz on 4s at 500mm for great visibility and more fun a little farther away. Or in them much more aggressive styles of flying.
I will probably place my order tomorrow,
& have it in a week, well before heavy rush of Christmas.
