Thinking about getting an IPad 2018

I am looking at getting an IPad 2018 for my P4P, but it shows the width as 6.67 inches looks like it is very close to the maximum that the standard holder will open to. Does anyone know if it fits without modifying the holder ?

The latest 9.7 inch iPad fits perfectly. It is brilliant!

That's what I use with my P4P, works and fits great!

Thanks for the comments. I got it yesterday and set it up. It is much brighter than my IPad Mini 2 and easier to read and see on the larger screen. It fits perfectly. I haven't been able to try it out yet, since it has been raining the last few days. I can't wait for a sunny day to try it out.
