There is no Pure Bluetooth On GoPro Hero 4

So the new GoPro Hero 4 does not have a pure Bluetooth connection to the GoPro App. It is still WiFi. I would not suggest anyone with a 2.4 ghz Radio transmitter (Phantom 2 non Vision) use the Hero 4 with it's wifi/Psuedo Bluetooth turned on.

The camera is still using WiFi.

GoPro totally misrepresented the new Bluetooth feature for controlling the camera.

I just got off the phone with GoPro and believe me, they are getting a lot of calls from Multirotor guys who are really pissed off.
The support rep I spoke with even told me her dad just had a Phantom Flyaway after having the Hero 4 Wifi/Bluetooth turned on.

I just needed to vent!!

I was disappointed by this as well... now not only do I have to turn my phone's wifi on to control the Hero4, it is REQUIRING me to have the Bluetooth on as well, even though the Bluetooth shows that the gopro isn't "connected". so weird. annoying.

Same here ... but the cam part is good i think
