After a couple of false starts (OOB defects) I finally received my shiney new fully functional (I hope) P4P yesterday afternoon. Gusty 20 mph winds prevented me (mentally) from doing a maiden flight. And about today...

I feel your pain. I have had mine for over a week. It has been snowing, freezing fog, below zero, or high winds. But, the sun is a shining today. I'll send a sun shine your way.:D
 
Supposed to be in the balmy high 50s here over the weekend, lets hope it's not windy.

Wont see 50's for a while up here at 10,200' elevation, but partly cloudy and 34 tomorrow sounds workable for a maiden launch.
 
The trick is to the battery warm up until you are ready to launch. I know of people that keep they batteries in a cooler to keep them room temperature.
