Terrible Range with Fatshark and Blue Beam ant

Does anyone else have this setup on their quad?

Lilliput 664 o/w/p Rx
FatShark 250mw 5.8 Tx
Blue Beam Ultra antennas


at bout 80meters I get very bad static. The Antenna on the quad is facing out the back and pointed toward the ground. I would have thought that i'd get better range with more clear picture.

You sure you have the right connectors on the antennas to mate with the Fatshark and monitor?. I am not sure about the monitor but FS use SMA and not-RP-SMA. The SMA antenna should have a pin rather than a hole.

connectors are all correct. I emailed IB Crazy and they suggested the lilliput may not be compatible with the fatshark tx. I've read several pages on this forum on how other people are using the lilliput with the fatshark 250mw tx. Any suggestions??

What are other peoples setups that use the Lilliput rx?
