    It was a nasty headwind situation for the return trip - I almost had to land there.
    Lucky I allowed for it and turned for home before 60%.
    Here's a better view of the seismic survey ship.

    is this one pic, or is it a bunch of pictures layered on top of another like HDR?

    Each is a single image.
    Fast moving ships aren't a good subject for HDR because the ship would be in a different position in each shot.

    Wow, your pics are way better than mine. What post editing software do you use? I don't have photoshop, so what's your free recommended alternative for dng files to get shots like these?

    Thanks ... I use Photoshop and unlike a lot of others, I shoot jpg rather than raw.
