Great video. Looks very stable. Does the in camera stabilization mostly eliminate the need for a gimbal?

Thanks. Mostly, but there is still some vibration visible in some sequences involving forward motion and it's not that smooth. On the other hand, if you don't have a GoPro, it's a cheaper alternative giving you a more natural look of video. The weight of GoPro with Zenmuse gimbal is similar to the weight of the Sony RX 100, so you will get similar flight times.

Was this stabilized with software? There seems to be a lot of little shakes but not huge movement shake.

Also, how do you mount the RX100?

No, it's not stabilized in any software, it's straight from camera. When I tried stabilization in iMovie the output was horrible, much worse than straight from camera. Any ideas which software to use to eliminate those tiny shakes here and there?

I might also try recording in other modes than 1080p at 50fps.

I mounted the camera with a tripod screw, on an anti-vibration mount from eBay. It's pointing straight forward.
