Tall Landing Skids for P2V?

    As I await the unraveling of the future of 2-axis brushless motor gimbals (meaning I'm waiting for competitors to Rotorpixel to step up and offer some alternatives) , hoping that I'll be able to get one within the next 3-4 months, I ask those who have already ordered the RP model if they think investment in taller/wider landing skids might make for better camera-safety margins.

    I'm not looking to fit taller skids/extensions yet. I always take off from my case and almost always hand-catch on landing. When the third axis option comes along I would think taller landing skids would be required...

    Pain in the *** if you have to travel as a carry on may not fit on the overhead. and I will not check my P2V
