Hi all,

I'm looking to model out a building using my Phantom 3 Pro and Agisoft Photoscan. Trouble is, it is difficult to get photos of the sides of the building as there is another building in close proximity and I don't want to crash the drone. When I try to take photos without the rotors on, the camera constantly moves away from where I want to point it.

Does anyone know of a solution to this? Or some type of work around? I want the GPS info to be attached to the photo I take so I can't really use a normal camera.

Thanks in advance,
Phil

Are you holding the Phantom still when you are taking the pictures? Might be helpful to have someone else hold the Phantom while you hold the controller.

Note also, however that there are TONS of cameras that have GPS and will record the location of a photo including (most likely) your smartphone.

It's risky to go into such narrow areas with P3 but you can try with prop guards on.
