Take photo while filming?

Is it (still) not possible to take RAW images while in Video mode? Would be really useful for some people to be filming, and then take a still when ever they feel like it. Not a screen grab, though. The same quality image as wne you're in 'Photo' mode would be idea.

No. You can only do one or the other.

Hit pause (Stop), snap your pics, And go back to video... ;-)

It sure would be nice. My cheap Sony point and shoot can do it with great results.

this is the only thing that i miss of the gopro in the phantom 1, 2..... the Video+photo function

I completely agree this would be nice. I was filming Saturday (a Polar Plunge) and it was time consuming to video, stop, shoot, video, stop, shoot, video, stop, shoot,....

On the flip side if I had been doing more of this I wouldn't have made a very large video file and lost it. If I had lost some only a small video file would be lost instead of several minutes. Lesson learned... make shorter videos since I do a lot of editing anyway.
