tablet mount

Ok, I use the same holder. I just removed one element - simply unscrew the small screw - and that's it :)

Hmm, not sure what you mean - I have P3S and I bought the Inspire 1 holder. You have to remove one screw and it fits perfectly. You don't have to buy any additional elements. I marked using red color, the element that you have to unscrew (small screw).

To be honest - I'm not sure. The best would be to ask P3P/ADV or Inspire 1 owners. Or other option - ask DJI support. They should know.

Yes. The holder holds my 10.1" tablet.

How sturdy is the mount without that screw? i am looking to do this this weekend. Not sure I want to drill into the controller yet.

In my opinion you don't have to drill your RC. It's stable.

I would not attempt it without both attachment points, as the controller gets quite top-heavy.

Last thing you want is to rip your remote by attaching it to only one point.

I agree. It only took a few minutes to take the controller apart to drill the hole for the front post. Short time for the added strength.

Hi

As a newbie using an ipad on my P 3A the whole setup with the plastic item is wonky, fragile and rubbish. The lateral movement due to the footprint is exaggerated the higher up you apply pressure , exacerbated by touch screen controls. Answer is the wider footprint all metal fixing such as sold by FAA drone decals.com. I do not live in USA and have no involvement with them.
IMO
