Tablet Holder?

well I installed my new tablet holder today and love it. It's a solid as a rock. I made a sunshade and it works out nice.

I went with Steelie. Found at loves truck stop. For attaching phone tablet or GPS to dash. I left the original arm on with a piece of rubber in the top just to give it a little grip and support. Although it is **** stable without it.]

How stable is this setup? I like the looks of it.
It's very stable. I might add a drop of Loctite to secure the bolts, but for now, it's pretty steady. Just got back from an afternoon of flying and it was solid. The mount and bracket didn't move.
You can position the bracket so that it's resting on the actual RC for more support, similar to the Inspire drill version.

Hello there, I could solve this issue just buying a cheap magnetic clip normally used for smartphones in cars. The clip is fixed directly on the upper clip of the existing holder, and the result is perfect.. much more stable than I expected..
8 bucks well spent..

Allstar doesn't deliver directly customers, only through dealers ( none in NL). But i've just found a US dealer who ships the Netherlands at reasonable costs. :)

If you don't mind my asking who was the dealer? I am based in the UK and am having exactly the same issue as you finding a local supplier.

Thanks

Delighted you found somewhere that ships to Europe, had already started my mod before I discovered these nutsert things are very hard to get in the EU. Had a quick rummage through the shed and found some bits to get me by while I order the proper fitting. I originally planned on just securing the inspire mount with a bolt inside the controller but was surprised how thick the plastic is and how few threads are on the mount.

This looks a bit 'agricultural' but is absolutely rock solid with no flexing. The bolt that came with the mount barely makes contact with the opposite threads so added a bolt, washer and two nuts instead.

Will it hold a iPad with otter box?

How easy is it to take this bracket off and on the RC? I have the DJI back pack and am assuming it'd need to come on the RC to fit.
