Tried the GoPro tablet holder I saw on YouTube. Works like a charm. Highly recommend it.

Just wanted to share. I went through hell trying different mounts. This one works!

Right, and does it stick!
Put it on the front of one of my kayaks a few years ago for a go-pro cam and it's on there. No indication of coming loose. Fresh water or salt. Boats are hung up outside for the winter too.

Bunch of different mounts never used yet just need the holder. Will order tonight when home.

Looks like the Amazon ad says 4.4 to 5.5 inches. Go Pro site may add info.

Sorry guys I didn't see any of this! If you have ever delt with gopro stickies you know they STICK.

The holder fits my shield k1 and my iPad mini. The measurements 4.5" - 5.5" are accurate. I just verified

If this one doesn't fit your device, I'm sure there are other device holders that have this threading on the bottom (tripod mount).

The one I got works very well for me.

I've got a similar setup but with a phone holder on a GoPro mount. I ran a cable tie from the GoPro mount to the lanyard ring just in case the sticky tape came off, at least the phone wouldn't go crashing to the ground.

I just added the sticky "GoPro" type mount on my controller and I used the curved one. I'm going to make my own tablet holder following instructions on line.

Thanks for posting this though as I hadn't even thought about using this type mount.

Curved one, although I think you could get away with using the flat one. I took a hair dryer to the sticky to soften it up before I stuck it on the controller. Don't know if that was necessary but that's what I did. Either way, make sure its lined up cause that GoPro adhesive practically fuses to plastic.
