Hey group I know this has been asked a thousand times. . So much so that I am confused. but here goes
I wanted to use a Samsung galaxy tab s 2. or possible a tab 4 with a sunshade. with my eyesight I just need a bigger screen and sun shade. I have a lot of questions before I buy one like
Do I just need wI fI not cell service?
does the DJI go app work the same on a Samsung tab?

You don't need cell service to fly. You'll need to cache the maps before you head out to fly if you want to be able to see the maps in the DJI GO app.

Yes, but it's not on DJI's recommended list. You can find a complete list of recommended devices here.

I use Nvidia Shield K1 it has GPS and GLONASS. It's fast and the price is a lot cheaper than iPads or most tablets out there.

I am familiar with android system. If I am thinking right Apple pads do not have a SD card

I believe that device's list is not updated regularly. I asked about the Note 5 (4GB of RAM, Big processing power and the best screen on a phone) because was not on the list, so I asked around and some members say it works great.

Check the list. My Nvidia Shield is 8 inch and this hood did not work for my tablet. Seems like the Tab 4 is 7in and so is the hood.
