I've combed through the tablet help threads but here's my situation:
Been flying P3P for about a week via my HTC Droid phone. I wanted to upgrade to using a tablet and had an old one lying around which was too old. I bought an Acer Iconia 8 tablet and with Android 4.4 Kitkat. I went through the process of enabling the display via the DJI Go app. It didn't work. It gives me a message that it's connected as a media source.
After reading about Acer use, doesn't look like much is out there.
The good news is that I gave the tablet to my wife and she's happy with it.
So the question is what can I buy for $200-$250 that will work out of the box?
Does using my android phone first pose a problem? Does it connect to whatever is plugged in if it meets the criteria for use by a P3P?
I'm somewhat savvy with computers but not an expert.
Thanks.
