Sunrise/Sunset pics & video?

Hello everyone. Have a question about pics & video at sunset/sunrise, I have read that ND filters are not the best for those times. I have purchased a CPL lens but haven't tried it yet, would the CPL lens be best for sunrise/sunset? Thanks guys..

A CPL filter is good for decreasing/eliminating reflections on shiny surfaces (e.g. water). For sunrise/sunset, you could use an ND4 or possibly even no filter at all depending on the level of light.
