    Does it really work? Did someone made a true comparative test?

    It has been tested by many and it does work. Just don't turn your back on your Phantom or you'll learn the hard way about how not to fly with this device attached to your antennas.

    It does work, i just got mine like a week ago, and yeah you are safe flying the drone straight out. If you go a different direction, make sure you're always facing your drone.

    All the test "reports" will be anecdotal and confirm improvement.

    Ever 'cup' your hands behind your ears to try and catch a faint sound??

    Same concept, same results... increased volume but more directional.
    You must face the sound your trying to hear so you will need to do the same with these.
