Stronger gps signal

Hey, i had a crazy idea, of making a small fixture that would hug the naza m v2 GPS antenna and have about a inch of wall in height. The bottom of the fixture would have aluminum tape. I dont know if anyone has heard of anything else like this for interference free signals.

As the AC flies up in the sky, most important is to shield any noise coming up to gps antenna mostly from its bottom.

Thank you Alokbhargava. I was thinking of putting either Aluminum Tape or Copper tape on the side and bottom of the GPS Pug Unit. What do you see or feel about this idea. I have about 7-10 inchs away from the any electrical sources.
