Strange Light Sequence

When I turn the drone, the back lights have a strange combo, not listed in the manual: The leg to the left of the battery has a slow green light, but the leg to the right of the battery has a slow yellow light. Both are flashing at the same time, but not the same color. I don't know what to make of that.

The WiFi is working and I see the camera image on the app, but I can't power up the rotors.

Any ideas folks?

The Phantom itself can only control the front and back lights as pairs (ie, it can't control the left and right separately).

If one left or right arm is showing differently, that means that there's an issue with the ESC on that side.

Ok. What is an ESC? and what can I do about this?

ESC stands for Electronic Speed Controller. There's one on each arm for each motor. They also happen to be the boards the LEDs are mounted to.
You may have to replace one of them. This involves (relatively easy) soldering. They're not too expensive, though.
The problem could also be the motor on that arm.
