Storing battery

gonna be going on vacation and will have to leave car for a week in outside parking lot in Las Vegas in June.Is it ok to leave battery in its case with phantom in car, or will heat affect it?

IMO that's asking for trouble... Why not leave it at home?

Gonna be going on 10 day raft trip on Colorado River through Grand Canyon then gonna go camping in High Sierras and want to use quad in National Forests and other places where it is legal

A quick look at the almanac shows avg. temps in Vegas in June to be 100 degrees. I wouldn't do it. The temp in the trunk is gonna be much higher than that if its direct sunlight. I'd also fear for the plastic in my Phantom. I don't know what its melting point is, but I'd be a concern for me to come back to a "wavy" looking phantom...
