Stitching Aerial Panoramics

Just curious to find out other aerial photography stitching techniques out there. I've had very good results from PTgui, here in Hawaii, at http://www.DroneCamHawaii.com. I've found that a 3 shot mix seems to work best for my particular needs. You can see some of the results on my recent YouTube video here...

I'm finding it's all about finding a good subject (obviously) on a day with great lighting (unfortunately not always the case). The GoPro is a great little camera, but it's got to have enough light to really make an image "pop". If it's a cloudy, overcast day with little contrast... I usually just leave the Phantom and GoPro in the case.

Thanks for the tip on PTGUI. It is quite a nice program.

I don't know what to put for lens info with my FC40, though.

Best stitching software I know about is Autopano : http://www.macupdate.com/find/mac/autopano

Not cheap but so far the best I used Available for Mac, PC and Linux
