Still photos taken with the 14mp camera on the new Phantom 2 Vision are so-so; screen captures from videos are considerably sharper. I believe it's because the lens and sensor on the camera are tiny.
I own both the Phantom Two and Phantom One. I can hard mount another camera to the Phantom One of course … and I suspect that a lightweight DSLR with WiFi would provide sharper stills. The question is, what camera would best do the job? … and what kind of range would the WiFi setup provide? I see that Nikon advertises one with a range of up to 50 feet. That's not so great, better if it's in the 100-200 foot range.
Does anyone know of a light, high mp DSLR camera that comes with a good WiFi range?
Thanks much.
