Got the new Stella last week, but realized the stock mounts would not match the 40mm mount space for the Phantom.
So last night I messed a bit with the dimensions and came up with a adaptor which don't get in the way of the center arm.

EDIT, please note I just lost one of the dampers, picture was shot with a piece of black form as place holder for the back damper.

Uploading a batch of pictures to my blog at http://www.FPVguy.com now.
The adaptor is available from ShapeWays at https://www.shapeways.com/model/1700040

Very interested in some video's from your Phantom set up!

The stella seems like the best gimbal design at the moment, sadly no 3 axis.

Particularly interested in how well it holds the horizon level.... The demo video's show some serious roll drift issues at times :(

Besides "landing gear in view intolerance" I have "skewed horizon intolerance" as well ;)
