I use that cheapy foil covered surf thingy which fits around the antenna . That was flight one, I did another and got 3.2 miles out. video started dropping out around 3 miles. I didn't want to push my luck.

Woow 3.2 miles, can you post pic of your setup. I never achieve that long range distance.

Wow! Nice. My P3A is just as stable. It amazes me sometimes.

I've never really compared with and without. I'll be going out to Safe Harbor Dam tomorrow morning. My son and his buddies go rock climbing near there. I have a mission programed into Litchi to fly around the dam. Not sure if I'm going to do it. I need to see how tall the electrical towers are
