What is correct? Should I Start the DJI Go App BEFORE or AFTER I power up my Controller and Phantom 3?

DID a Search, found nothing.

This sequence seems to work best for most people:
  • Turn on the remote controller
  • Turn on the Phantom
  • Wait ~30 seconds
  • Connect the Wi-Fi on the mobile device
  • Start DJI GO

For a standard I do the following:

Start RC
Start Quad
Wait for Wi-Fi to pop up
Connect Wi-Fi
Start Go or Litchi

I found that Litchi is super picky if I don't follow that pattern and I get the disconnected message on Android. On iOS Litchi is way less picky

Every once in a while, I had connection issues between my phone, and the controller's WiFi, meaning the Phantom was using precious battery while I attempted that connection,so I do
Contoller
Wait 20 seconds
Connect phone to controller's WiFi
Open Go
Then turn on the Phantom last

That is what I do. Then wait for the AC warm up and wait and wait and wait![emoji13]

I generally power on RC, start DJO Go & then P3P. When P3P connects the DJI Go says camera connected etc., and brings up the camera view.
So I guess answer is whatever works?
I figure we are all going to be paranoid wondering what the sequence actually is :p
