standard servo to tilt camera

I have a Phantom 1.1.1, I use a GoPro and I'm wondering if I can simply use a servo and a link rod to tilt the camera up and down using the stock tx. I don't care for a gimbal but I do want to tilt the camera. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to what port I can plug into on the NAZA etc. Is it "F2", and I already have the tilt control lever on the back of the tx. Thanks

I'd say give it a shot.

Yes it is the F2 (PAge 26 on http://download.dji-innovations.com/dow ... .26_en.pdf)

Be sure to turn the gimbal control on with the Naza Assistant software settings.

That's what I'm assuming (it will work), but I wonder if the servo will harm anything vs a small gimbal motor.

Are the gimbal motors servo or stepper type?
