Re: stability improvement

I assume you are trying to decide if you want ot buy the P2 or the P2V+?

I bought the Phantom 2, a Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal, and a GoPro. Then a transmitter, a receiver, and a monitor.
Then I sold everything and bought a P2V+.

Why?

It is WAY more expensive to set-up a proper aerial media quadcopter, by buying each component seperately. You'll be close to 2000 Euro.
If you buy the P2V+, you'll pay 1159 Euro (with 2 batteries) and you'll be good to go. Plus, you'll have digital downlink for your video preview.

To answer your question:

- The gimbals are equaly good, both the Zenmuse H3-3D and the P2V+. Worth noting that my Zenmuse was a bit twichy on the P2.
- Both cameras are equaly good. You have a slightly better picture with the GoPro at night. Other than that, the P2V+ records great video.
- Both the P2 and P2V+ are equally stable and easy to fly.

Check out this video, i recorded it on Saturday.

Re: stability improvement

Both are good, but at extremes, the V+ gimbal is better. Check out HeliPals video comparison.

The GoPro has better video quality, but I'm not sure how significant. The black has 1080p60, 2.7k30 and 4k15 (not really useable for flying), whereas the V+ best resolution is 1080p30.

I think the Ground Station app with the V+ makes it a lot easier to fly.
