I have a couple of V262 cheap quads that I started flying as I got into the multirotor thing. For their price, they're not bad but have some weak issues. First...the brushed motor life is not that good. Second...the motors drive a plastic gear to prop shaft. I understand plastic gears will wear out with use. No biggie. They are cheap. The pinion gear on the motor is brass. Why would the brass gear wear down and become useless driving a plastic gear? It srtips down and then tears up the plastic gear because of bad engagement

Typically when you have metal versus plastic, microscopic pieces of the metal gear will imbed into the plastic, and now the plastic gear can also act upon the metal one, causing its wear.
