Hi, I have a Dji Phantom for 4 weeks and had some great flights. I bought a foam interior case to house the Phantom in, i have taken it out tonight and started my phantom up as per usual. Then when it starts to take off it is spinning out of control! i have tried several take off's and it has done it every time. On closer inspection it looks like the case may have bent the main frame by 2 or 3mm on one side.

would this cause this problem? and how can i fix it? HELP!!

If your case warped the body, what did your props look like?

How about a video showing exact malfunction. I doubt case affected your Phantom unless you really bent frame/props. I suspect an advanced calibration is needed and compass calibration but would like to see a video.

Thanks, the props are fine as I have taken them off when putting back into the box. See the video link, this is after an advanced cali and compass cali. Its driving my insane, I need it for work on Thursday as well. http://youtu.be/RORJQSj1yk4

Go into assistant software -> Basic -> aircraft -> make sure 2nd box from left is selected - Quadrotor X

:D :D :D

This is the solution :D not props gone wrong... Letting your Phantom know that its now a hexa copter would make a pretty good platform for a gimbal test. LOL :D
