The loud beep of the Phantom 3 drives my dog nuts, I'm looking for the location of the speaker. I would like to cover it with something to muffle the sound.

There is no speaker. The sounds come from the motors, so it would be tough to muffle them.

Speakers are just magnets. And guess what your motors are made of?
I fell off my chair when i found out. I was looking for PCB motherboard speakers but couldnt find any on the ESC's.
