I'm in Australia, sitting here with a busted drone. Seems to me that you can't buy new spare parts for these things other than complete assemblies.
Is the only option to buy crashed drones and used bits on eBay ect ?
What complete barstards DJI are, how on earth do they stay in business?
I'd never buy a single thing from them again after this experience.
Can anyone here suggest a source of new parts ?
I mean stuff like the individual boards, I'm taking a stab in the dark that the main board inside the gimbal mount has developed a fault from the crash.

You can find a list of P3A replacement parts sold by DJI here. If you're looking for a part not listed there, you'll have to buy it from a repair shop, buy it on a site like eBay, or send your Phantom into DJI to be repaired.

I have many parts for the P3A used and new. What makes you think it's the gimbal board that the problem. Symptoms?

You can hold the gimbal board near you nose and take a sniff. If it smells burned, you might be right. Otherwise it could be a myriad other parts including motor circuit boards or ribbon cable.

Yeah, cheers mate, I already saw that list, there seems to be a lot of bits there but nothing that someone with a crashed drone can actually use, other than the complete camera assembly, they're around 500 Aussie dollars posted, for a machine I bought new for a grand posted?
No way !
I'll exit the drone scene before I fall for that one.

Here's a post I attempted to make but slow internet buggered it up for me.

There are a number of DJI retailers here in the UK that sell myriad of P3 spares, plus specialist drone repair businesses too. Do you not have the same in Australia?

Only spares like propellers and stuff, you can also get an entire camera/gimbal assembly for $500, half the purchase price of the drone in the first place, but no individual parts like the main board in the camera/gimbal mount base.
