South Africa : Blue Ridge Farm (lesson learnt)

    Hi. This is a short video of Blue Ridge farm in Newcastle South Africa. I really like most of the shots but I couldn't figure out why the video is so jerky. Only afterwards did I realise that I edited the footage using H264 compression and not ProRes uncompressed. By then I had already uploaded blah blah blah.

    Lesson Learnt : uncompress raw footage first because Final Cut Pro X doesn't like H264 editing.

    Yeah like I said its because of the way I edited it. My own fault.

    No, they cut the grass and making a better golf course. Once the weather is better I have to return and make a new video with the new grass etc etc etc. Its a B&B. This video was just a test to see and plane for future shots.

    I didn't see a golf course though.

    hehe, me too. thats why they are cutting the grass and setting things up as a golf course.
