    I have go pro cameras, and I use goprostudio I believe its free. check it out.
    look up how to do it in youtube. works well.

    If your using a Mac load it in iMovie, go full screen, pause and press Cmd+shift+3 to export a .PNG. You can save as a JPEG in Preview

    Media Player Classic. Just pause the video, choose save image as .bmp or .pnj or .jpg
