Hi everyone just follow the steps.

1) Delete the app from iphone.
2) Go to Users/<Username>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications location on Mac and C:\Users\<Username>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications location on Windows; find the "DJI VISION 1.0.60.ipa" and delete it.
3) Download the "DJI VISION 1.0.56.ipa" from DJI VISION 1.0.56.ipa.zip and move "DJI VISION 1.0.56.ipa" to the same folder.
4) Open itunes, go to my apps. Find DJI VISION app, right click and click show in finder. It is not going to find and ask you to locate; press locate.
5) Choose "DJI VISION 1.0.56.ipa" from Users/<Username>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications
6) Connect your iphone, sync and download the app again.

Safe flights.

I tried and this but it would not download to my IPad. iTunes would not allow the install. I'm thinking it may be because the file did not come from iTunes. Is this intended for iPhone and not iPad? Any help would be great

I tried it and I had the same problem too. It would not download onto my ipad. My computer kept saying that it didn't download onto my ipad because this computer wasn't authorized! I authorized the computer and it still kept on saying it was authorized! What do I do?

Are you deleting the vision app on itunes and then trying to download it via the ipa file? You have to keep .60 version of it on itunes always. You are going to delete its ipa only, then empty trash. Then relocate the ipa as the one I provided.

When I sync it, will it automatically download? And is there a specific way I need to sync it? And are you sure this will work?

Go to iphone tab in itunes where apps are sorted as remove/will install/install and choose install vision app. Yep, I'm using without an issue.

Must be doing something wrong. I followed your directions and continue to have the same issue. Continues to tell me the computer is not authorized.

Same! I contacted DJI yesterday, they told me that the new version of the app was supposed to cancel the updating of the range extender so the problem the app was having before... Shouldn't occur anymore. I don't know wether to trust them or not?

I have been struggling with this for a few hours and have found that if you look under get info on the app in iTunes, under the file tab it shows that the app was purchased by the OP, Tekin Oztekin. It wants his verification, not yours.

Here is an alternative way

Hello Everyone,
Here is some info I compiled, for those of you experiencing " PROBLEMS " after updating a DJI IOS app, to your smart device!

This is a step by step " HOW-TO " downgrade ANY iOS app , through ITUNES, using Charles Proxy " Web Debugger ".

You'll first need to download Charles!

Go to:
Charlesproxy.com

Download the FREE 30 day trial, ( just uninstall when finished )

Ok

Here is the video on how to do this:

Ok
Now I've compiled the numbers and placed them with APP versions and dates for you: ( you can search the app in iTunes, and search versions, and what each version has or has added ) too much typing for me, but this will help:

Ok. ( DJI VISION APP )
Use this number for this version:

Is there an older DJI VISION iOS app that lets waypoints be longer than 500 meters out and longer than calculated return distance?
I recall having this ability earlier and flying without problems. It was my first Phantom back then. But the firmware was at v3.08 not v3.12 When the Phantom was low on battery (user adjustable to 30%) it would RTH. DJI tells me that with the latest software none of that is possible. And to make it worse they told me that RTH during waypoint missions does not kick in, only the Fail Safe that tries to land wherever the Phantom is along the waypoint mission, not RTH like it used to be.

That might be a Firmware issue, rather than app.
App can be reverted, but in 2012/13 they banned rolling back firmware, or locked the code at least, lol.
The only way to achieve earlier firmware, is to swap naza unit with 3.08 already installed on it, which they are avail, I might even have one lying around. Or member Hunch might.

Now the App, you'll have to pull up iTunes, and look under revision history, search through all the versions, to see if you can see wearer mission waypoint RTH has changed, and go 1 earlier.

Hope this helps, and use Charles 3.0 or earlier, as they disabled a few needed functions in the newer software, but 3.0 still works.

OK I can't be sure what this means but I used to limit my range to fly 8500' distance which it did very nicely with some modifications of course ( Itelite Panel etc ) However for whatever reason when I updated to 1.0.61 on my Samsung phone & 1.0.59 on my Samsung tablet my distance has been cut to around 2500'
I use AndroidOS so can't revert back anyway ( I don't think ) but could this update possibly be why I can no longer get the same range as before the update? This has been puzzling me for ages & reading this thread may have answered the puzzle.
Thanks for any pointers in my quest to regain 8500' distance
