Solid red light

Hi.

I'm newbie on quads, It's my first experience with quads, but I flight FPV since 2009.
I want to give a try to a quad, so I bought a phantom with de h3-3d gimbal.
So easy to fly, awesome!!!

Yesterday after install de mini iOSD inside the phantom, I turn up the radio and the phantom, and a red solid ligth appears!!!! I forgot to connect the GPS.
So turn off all.
Connect the GPS, turn all everything and the red solid light come again!!!!
Turn of everything, connect the usb cable, open the DJI program, power the radio and the phantom, and like magic, back to normal.

Strange for me.

After some test, all are back to normal, but my question is, Could this happen again? Could this happen in the air?

The solid red normally indicates that the P2 needs calibrating. I wouldn't imagine this would happen mid-flight.
