I have seen no evidence that solar activity has been proven to cause flyaways...

However - if you want to exercise an abundance of caution and use an app to test solar activity - I use Solar Monitor to check K-Index and flare activity

That said - while there is evidence that solar activity can cause issues with GPS systems - I have yet to experience a day where the K-index had any noticeable effect on my Phantom.
