Software update help

Is there any tips on doing the software update on V+ ?

Just received it and its needs updating.

Seem to recall there were some complications on doing it, but could not find the thread.

I had heard people having to undo certain bits inside or do them in a certain order.

Did you work down from top to bottom ?

I plugged drone into my laptop and it did update automatically without asking me to do anything.

The GPS is not showing any updates, I presume that is normal ?

Gun the throttle full blast until you get up about 10 feet then let it sit still for a moment. Don't be gentle with the throttle when taking off. Be gentle at all other times, though!

I am upgrading from a FC40 which I managed to tip forward the first couple of times due to being too cautious.

I am just reading the manual again to make sure I have not missed anything, most things are similar to FC40 but the phone app is a big leap upwards in functionality.
