Software to use on video editing

What video software should I use to trim the footage and post on social media?

I've just started using Wondershare Video Editor on the Mac - seems to be fairly easy to use and it's pretty inexpensive. I hate iMovie so was looking for something else that didn't cost too much. I think I have seen other threads on this topic so do a search and see what pops up.

I would try to get a way to instal the old iMovie that was super intuitive: drag drop trim.
NOw iMOvie is super complicated and pro software aren't simple (I am actually a video editor)
In fact you make me realize that there's a niche with all the videos that are produced with the drones!!!
I never thought of that: what do people do of all the footage they shoot?

What if am using windows 7? Or, is there a way to get the videos accessible from my iPad?

I do have iMovie, but it's on my iPad. :-(

yeah you can't get the footage on the iPad that's for sure...
Maybe one day I'll take the time to do a tutorial on "basic editing" for Phantom users.
But still... it would require to buy a pretty expensive software (Adobe Premiere Pro)...

what about the GoPro editing software that comes with the camera? I heard good things about it and saw nice results

Try Magix it is reasonably priced http://www.magix.com/us/movie-edit-pro/ and for that price can do some very advanced things. The basic version is fine.

I find Windows Movie Maker to be very user-friendly, and it comes free if you have Windows. I have seen other applications, both paid and free, that do not support .mov files, which is the format my video camera uses. I've posted to both YouTube and Vimeo without trouble.

Try sony vegas pro, that's what I always use and it's fairly easy to get used to.
