Broke the sd card that came with the phantom. Bought a new one and I'm getting this message slow sd card. I didn't know there were diffrent speeds on sd cards. Safe to fly for now ? Any draw backs I notice the top right dial for the iso is acting a little wierd.

You could always fly without it until you get a new one.

What kind of memory card did you buy?

The speed of your SD card won't affect your camera controls at all.
The card you need should be Class 10 or UHS-1. Slower cards won't work well.

So far it's taking pictures and video good just getting that message

SanDisk makes many 8GB memory cards. Got any further details about it?

Yep. Class 4 memory cards are too slow. Use the memory card that came with your Phantom or another class 10 memory card. You can find some commonly used memory cards here.

Had no idea. So what class do I need ? And I appreciate the help thank you

If you are doing 4K, 2.7K or even 1080p@60fps, then play it safe and get a card that is 80mbs write speed. These are the UHS 3 cards.
